Who We Are

DeRonde/Deroo (mind the spelling) consists of Tom de Ronde and Nick Deroo. They create physical performances that make philosophical themes visual and tangible, using choreographic, musical, cinematic, and theatrical means.

The body plays an important role in this, sometimes choreographed in powerful mimeography, sometimes sculpted as living statues, sometimes balancing virtuosically like acrobats. Switching from image to image, they construct compelling dramatic worlds, poetic theatrical essays - compelling, overwhelming, intriguing.
