Hou Vast
We follow three travelers on their journey. They search for something to hold onto: each other, the past, and their dreams. One acts as a compass, trying to find direction. Another bends and folds like a pocketknife in impossible positions. At times, they stack themselves like a lookout tower, straining to see what’s coming. Climbing, stumbling, and struggling, they seem to hold each other in a precarious balance… or do they?
Hou Vast is an absurd, acrobatic performance by Het Houten Huis and DeRonde/Deroo. Two acrobats and a musician use their bodies and live music to explore the delicate tension between holding on and letting go.
This performance is made for an audience of 7+. So that means everyone above that age, so also adults.
Première | January 2026
Duration +/- 50 min

"It is rare to see creators in Dutch theater construct such a consistent and richly visual universe as Deroo and De Ronde do here."
